As the Royal Air Forces's Cadet Force, we provide aviation based training giving young people confidence, leadership and team working skills ready to prepare them for either service in the military or to excel in civilian life. 

Whatever your future ambitions, we can give you a head start and help you develop the skills that employers look for. 

We exist to promote interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force, to foster the spirit of adventure and to provide skills that will be of an advantage both in the services and in civilian life. 

In practical terms, that means we run character development activities for people from Year 8 in secondary school right up to the age of 20. These activities are covered in brief detail here.
